  • Welcome to my blog!

    A little about myself!

My name is Denley and I am a Winnipeg Wedding photographer!

I am an outdoorsy kind of person. I love being active and engaged which translates into my wedding photography.

Whether it is on top of an old rusty car, or i'm trudging through tall grass, if I think the shot is there, I go for it! To me, wedding photography should be fun, energetic and always needs to show the true emotions of the wedding day!

Thanks for checking out my blog!

More of Kevin and Karina!

Kevin and Karina Sneak Peak

I am utterly excited to photograph Kevin and Karina’s wedding next July! It’s gonna be the farmer wedding of the year! I simply couldn’t stop photographing these two because for whatever reason, they just know how to rock a camera!

More to come soon!!!

Patrick and Lilly wedding

Last Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Patrick and Lilly’s wedding!  The day started off with a little champagne while the girls got ready.  Watching them try to open the bottle was priceless ( I made sure to capture a lot of that!).  Then we headed over to Patricia’s Ballroom for the ceremony and later for the reception!  As you’ll see, the Ballroom looks fantastic and I think you’d be surprised how it can be a great option for ceremony’s and receptions!

After the ceremony we headed on down to Assiniboine Park to The Leo Mol Garden.  Talk about a great location to shoot at!  Of course the first thing the groomsmen do is try to ride each and every statue in the garden!  We spent about an hour in the park, and I managed to get a ton of great shots in that short time frame!  Then off to Patricia’s again!  Dinner was served buffet style!  I love buffets because there is no need to fear hungry stomaches during a buffet!

After speeches, the couple did their first dance!  They danced a Fox Trot and took lesson from…you guessed it! Patricia!  They ended the dance with a spin and a dip!  Probably the best I’ve seen from a couple to date!  Rock on guys!  Congratulations!

Okay, so this needs a little explanation!  Sometimes, I like to mess with my clients.  I put everyone into position and then I tell everyone to “put their finger on their noses”.  They always give me a puzzled look but they do it anyway!!!  It gets a good laugh every time and it is a great way to loosen up a big crowd!  :)  Thanks for being a sport everyone!
