Its 2009 and I didn’t make any “official” new years resolutions. But I do have a lot of plans, goals and other deliciousness in store. First off I want to thank everyone for an amazing year. There are many, MANY people to thank on a personal and professional level. So here goes!
First and foremost, I’d like to thank my family for their continued source of support and encouragement in my life. I’d like to thank Sean and Natasha for being amazing people and role models in my life, you guys rock! Thank you to Gabrielle Touchette, who not only is a close friend but also an amazing photographer who I spend way too much time talking about photography with
(just kidding, you know I love it!), and who actually happens to be a former bride of mine! I’d like to thank to Lauralee B. who is like my second mom, you have the best advice! Thank you to Cory Aronec for teaching me pretty much everything I know! Thanks to Amanda O. for your awesome blog and someone to chat to every night I teach (when I think about you…). Many thanks to Patty Boge from Off The Page Photography for your amazing advice. Thank you to Jake and Jess from Kamp Photography for just being you and super cool at it, I appreciate all the advice you have given! ( I can say Rocktographers properly now, I have been practicing!). Thanks to all my friends for letting me be myself and STILL being my friends! You guys are too much fun, and really weird :P Oh boy I hope I haven’t forgotten anyone!
Okay, so if I didn’t thank you, email me and I’ll make sure to add you in another post:) So, my new years unofficial resolutions are as follows:
- -Be a kinder, more caring person
- -Excercise at least twice a week
- -Have a salad at least twice a week
- -Hug people more
- -Use more exclamation points in my post!!!
- -Learn French
I realize this could be put into 3 separate posts but how would that make it a mega post then? See, I’m a thinker!
Montreal! Montreal was amazing, and if you haven’t noticed by now, I don’t do segways, I just go! See, that was a segway in a…nevermind. At any rate, Montreal was very beautiful and the first thing I noticed was they had HILLS! I know, I know, it doesn’t seem like a big deal but I haven’t seen hills like that in years. I had to walk up a hill and down a hill all the time. It makes Winnipeg seem so much easier to walk around, just go straight! And the weather, boy howdy! The weather was beautiful. I remember one day the weather was 0 degrees! I believe that was boxing day :) I know I could ramble on for paragraphs but how about I just show you some photos already!
